New Prospect Ranch is a small Colorado breeding program that produces Spanish Purebred Horses (PRE, Pura Raza Espanola) for competition. We produce bold, willing partners with excellent type, athleticism, and temperament.

Our horses are selected for powerful hind ends and straight, free, front end movement without the broken knee movement, winging or paddling found in some Andalusian lines. We geld most of our colts, to simplify handling, competition, and transport, and also to improve their quality of life.

We currently stand one stallion-- Centella JDE-- a 16.2hh revised gray pure Guardiola son of the LIMPRE Guardiola Champion Centella VI. This promising young stallion has tremendous substance, power, and the famous free shoulder and straight front end extensions of the old Guardiola lines.

We offer select foals and young horses for sale. Our mares, Umbria and Penelope, are confirmed to be in foal to Centella JDE for spring of 2009.
